Bio

Dr. Rhonda Hoenigman is a Teaching Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. In her 13 years at CU, she has held leadership positions in the Department of Computer Science and the College of Engineering and Applied Science where she guided curriculum development, educational innovation, and cross-program coordination. Dr. Hoenigman has taught large, foundational computer science courses in data structures, algorithms, and artificial intelligence. She is particularly passionate about connecting core technical ideas to real-world impact while fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments that broaden participation in computer science. In her spare time, Dr. Hoenigman is a parent to two teenagers and an avid photographer.
